A Deeper Look at Foundational Nutrition Watch the full presentation recording HERE It’s about 45 minutes, but don’t feel like you have to watch it all—scroll through and pick up what stands out. It’s packed with practical, real-world information for living longer and healthier.

One question I hear all the time is: Do supplements really work? Dr. Erin shared research and long-term studies that help answer that question.

This talk breaks down why foundational nutrition matters—and what decades of research actually show.

One study she discussed was the Shaklee Landmark Study, conducted with researchers from UC Berkeley, which looked at people who had been taking Shaklee supplements for 30+ years.

Researchers found that long-term Shaklee users demonstrated:

• Healthier biomarker levels • Better overall nutritional status • Improved heart-health markers • Higher levels of essential vitamins It’s a great example of the kind of science-based foundation that makes our nutrition more meaningful—at every stage of life, from infancy through older age.

But here’s the part most people don’t realize…not all supplements are created equal.

While supplements are regulated, they are not held to the same standards as prescription medications—so quality, sourcing, and testing can vary widely from one company to another.

This is one of the reasons we rely on Shaklee. If they make it—and we use it—we’re comfortable using it in our own home, from home care to skin care to nutrition.
